Students locally perceive tobacco products, marijuana, and alcohol use as not dangerous- at a higher rate than the national norm.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Students are exposed to anti-drug messages, but focused attention on "heavier drugs" may be causing young people to perceive other risky behaviors as more acceptable.
